Faith in America: Delco Muslims undaunted by Trump’s remarks

One week after they were married in 1974, Abu and Shelly Rahman moved from their native Bangladesh to the United States. They have been citizens here for 36 years.

They have had successful careers, he as a chemist and she as an editor, and have raised a son who now owns an information technology company in New York City. They have lived happily in Newtown Square and practiced their Islam faith peacefully in Upper Darby with hundreds of other Muslims for many years.
