Andrew Babson is a scholar of learning and development in comparative, international perspective (Ph.D. University of Michigan, 2011; MSc. London School of Economics & Political Science, 2002). He serves as a Lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education and Adjunct Professor at Temple University College of Education. Andrew has published and presented his research on South African youth identity, educational achievement and class mobility in national and international venues. He has contributed to or led projects at the University of Michigan's School of Education and Institute for Social Research, as well as the University of Pennsylvania's International Literacy institute and the UNESCO International Institute for Educational Planning. Andrew is a long-time music lover and collector of vinyl records, and a member of the Philadelphia Continental Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution. Andrew and his wife Emily moved to Radnor so that their children could attend Radnor’s fantastic public schools.
